The product, Fleet Monkey, started with a 'need', as all good things do. A large diesel repair shop owner was using a very old, clunky, limited Diesel Shop software and it was a great improvement over the QuickBooks he had been using for years. But, he needed more than what it could provide.

Fleet Technology, Inc. stepped in and found a way to leverage the existing maintenance shop features that they were using and extended them. The shop owner wanted a way to make maintaining his parts room inventory easier and quicker. He also wanted the power and information in the hands of his mechanics ... right where the mechanics were working ... so that they could get the information they needed and relay back their workorder information to the office in real-time. This is what started Fleet Monkey. But, it's become much more. Fleet Monkey is designed to put those functions that parts room employees and mechanics need in the palm of their hands. It also provides automated tasks such as Auto Parts Ordering and Auto Warranty Tracking to save your office staff time and recover money you didn't know you were "leaving on the table". Fleet Monkey works in the background helping your office staff, parts room employees and mechanics do their jobs faster, easier and better.
